SINGAPORE: Changi Airport has added two new itineraries to its Free Singapore Tour programme.

The tour provides an opportunity for passengers transiting at Changi Airport to enjoy Singapore's iconic sights.

The Heritage Tour is its first addition, and is available four times a day.

It includes a visit to the Colonial District, Merlion Park, Chinatown and Little India.

Visitors will experience the history, culture and the lifestyle of Singapore through the tour.

The City Lights Tour starts from 6.30pm, and includes a visit to Marina Bay Waterfront Promenade, Bugis Village and Raffles Hotel.

Both itineraries include tours to Singapore's newest attractions, Gardens by the Bay, Marina Bay Sands and the Singapore Flyer.

Vice president for Passenger Development at Changi Airport Group, Peh Ke-Wei, hopes that passengers who have gone for the tour would return to Singapore for a longer stay.

The Free Singapore Tour is available at no cost, to passengers who have at least five hours of transit.
